Heris:

Quartier Heris is an innovative real estate project spread over 2,58ha and consists of 52 houses, 135 apartments divided into 6 blocks and 1 elderly home with a capacity of 120 rooms.

Heris is one of the first projects to fulfill enough ecologic and socio economic criteria to be considered as an Eco-District in Wallonia. Heris is designed for a mix of age groups from families with young children to the inhabitants of the Elderly home on site.

The single family houses are Zero Energy Houses. And to build 52 such houses in one project is unique in Belgium. Even more remarkable is that these houses will be sold at prices comparable to a normal house. Common to all of the units in the project is the focus on a low coset of living.

In 2026, we begin construction of our first Zero Energy Apartment block (www.heris.be)

This new apartment block consists of 15 energy-neutral homes.

Our concept combines proven technologies to deliver:

  • About 50% reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to traditional brick and stone construction
  • 3–6 months shorter build time

Epinois:

Epinois is the first project with The Zero Energy House concept of K&W. In short, that means that the house is producing as much energy as it consumes over the course of the year or A++ energy classification. The Zero Energy House does this while maintaining the highest comfort of living at an affordable price.

A park is integrated in the middle of the project and the onsite roads give priority to pedestrians which offer security and ambiance for people of all ages. Great effort has also been made to make the constructions esthetically pleasing and fitting with the surrounding buildings but at the same time modern and easy to maintain.

Project Epinois is completely finished and all the houses and apartments are sold.
